Participation Plans for Strategic Projects
A strategic project is a supply opportunity that the Minister for Jobs considers to be of strategic significance to the Western Australian economy. In other words, it is a supply opportunity that has the potential to generate a significant amount of economic activity and jobs for Western Australians.
Strategic projects are not bound by the minimum local participation requirements of a core or full Participation Plan. Instead, each strategic project may require a tailored participation plan that addresses additional or specific local economic or social outcomes.
The exact Participation Plan requirements and evaluation weighting for each strategic project will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the Minister for Jobs.
