The Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy (WAIPS 2020) and Pipeline of Work Launch will highlight the WA Government’s approach to create jobs for Western Australians and stimulate the economy.

WA Premier Mark McGowan will deliver a keynote speech to launch the Pipeline of Work and outline how the $5.5 billion WA Recovery Plan and WAIPS 2020 are key to restoring business confidence and creating employment.

The additions to WAIPS will simplify processes, enhance accountability measures, create better outcomes for WA businesses and lead to more local jobs.

Presentations from the departments of Finance; Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation; Transport; and Communities (Housing) will provide attendees with clarity about future major works and tendering processes.

For those not able to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed for a virtual audience across WA and the recording will be made available on industrylink.wa.gov.au after the event.

The event includes a panel Q&A session and a networking opportunity.

Light refreshments provided.
