Local Content Advisers (LCAs) are available to provide advisory services to businesses in regional areas. Their focus is on helping support regional businesses compete for State Government supply opportunities.

Services for Head Contractors

LCAs can help your business:

  • Address participation plans more effectively.
  • Understand how to sell to government.
  • Find assistance to build supply chain capability and capacity.
  • Identify upcoming major scheduled contracts.
  • Identify other government supply opportunities.
  • Identify State and Federal Government financial assistance programs.
  • Understand your rights and responsibilities under the Western Australian Jobs Act 2017 and the Western Australian Industry Participation Strategy.
     

Services for Sub Contractors

LCAs can help your business:

  • Understand how to sell to government as a subcontractor.
  • Connect with head contractors
  • Identify other government supply opportunities.
  • Identify State and Federal Government financial assistance programs.
  • Participate in productivity and business capability activities.

LCAs will also assist suppliers to investigate import replacement opportunities. This will be essential to creating more supply opportunities for local businesses, particularly small and medium sized enterprises, and more jobs for Western Australians.
