The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) is sharing information across governments and the private sector to support local Australian manufacture and efficient procurement of essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia.

JTSI is also working with industry and the Australian Government on how to connect local businesses that can help fill supply chain gaps created by the impacts of COVID-19.

JTSI is seeking information on domestic production capabilities relevant to a range of medical (PPE), including surgical gowns, face masks, goggles and hand sanitisers.

Therefore, businesses wanting to supply products in relation to COVID-19 can now register their interest on the ICN Gateway and with the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC).

These registrations of interest will be used to establish a consolidated database for use by relevant agencies.

For suppliers with current stocks or manufacturing capability, Health Support Services has developed a process to register, review and respond to proposals by potential suppliers for products that may assist with the response to COVID-19.

Please send proposed products and related information to COVID19ProposedProducts@health.wa.gov.au.
